Clearly some potential users of UAVs don’t need to invest in a complete system. Perhaps you only require a few hours of video or photography. UAV-EA are able to provide a UAV, complete with a ‘pilot’ for rental.
Our operator will work with you, using the video downlink capabilities of our systems, to get the best possible images. We can even supply a full dual control UAV, so our pilot does the flying and you control the camera yourself using a second remote control system. You can even fit your own cameras to our UAVs!

Currently in development is a range of Unmanned Underwater Vehicles (UUVs). We are in the early stages of developing systems that will work underwater allowing photography and videography at depths of up to 30 metres below the surface.
This is as a result of requests from our customers who have been looking for a solution that doesn’t require the ability to dive to such depths.
Although this project is at a proof of concept stage at the moment we foresee rapid development as much of the control technology and software is exactly that used in our range of UAVs.

Autonomous Search And Rescue (SAR) UAVs are currently under development here at UAV-EA. Our Aim is to produce a UAV that will automatically search a building for casualties using IR cameras and position sensors. Once found, the UAV will transmit the position back to the operator, even showing a map of the shortest route to the casualty.
This will allow buildings to be searched quickly and to minimise the time that rescue personnel need to spend in a dangerous environment.
The UAV can also be fitted with microphones and speakers allowing the operator to communicate with anyone trapped. We believe that such development will greatly improve safety for rescue personnel and aid in rapid evacuation of casualties, thus saving lives.

We are currently working on some exciting developments to make the control of our UAVs even easier.
One of those developments is to integrate voice control into our UAV software. This will allow the operator, using a microphone headset, to control the UAV just by speaking to it. So you could say “Take off and climb to 100 metres”, “Turn left and descend to 50 metres”, “Fly to waypoint 3” and so on.
The aim is to make controlling the UAV as simple as possible, leaving the operator to get on with the task in hand.
